Amanda M. Constable, MA, Director, Government Relations
Amanda was a Legislative Assistant in the Indiana Senate, serving several key legislators and was a Congressional Intern for Congressman Steve Buyer in Washington, D.C. before moving to the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (2006-2009), where she supervised Law Enforcement Liaisons, each representing a region of the State of Indiana. There, she also supervised statewide programmatic grantees, legislative affairs, and evaluated new grant applications.
Amanda then became the Indiana Government Affairs Director for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), where she developed annual strategic campaign plans for the Society’s top federal, state and local advocacy priorities,
leveraged community grassroots resources, directed the effort to lobby federal, state and local elected officials and managed an annual state budget for grassroots activity, media efforts, staffing, and other advocacy tactics.
Amanda’s broad experience within legislative and administrative agencies, coupled with her creative expertise, strengthens Third House’s ability to formulate winning strategies for clients.
